Pre-School Program
Pathfinders (3 - 4 years old)
At Kreative Kidz Pre-school, we believe that each child’s learning experience should extend beyond the classroom as well. That is why our Pre-School program is designed for children who may or may not be entering Kindergarten in the fall.
By diving right into our Pre-K curriculum, they acquire the social skills necessary for school while learning math, science, art, music, and social skills with pretend play. In other words, when children enter public school, they will be able to continue their enjoyment of learning and investigation.
Our Pre-School curriculum is designed to make this happen. Using MCPS school standards and our Curriculum InvestiGator™ Club, we work to create a learning environment that can encourage each child to tap into their curious natures and follow through.
Encouraging "Purposeful Inquiry" to develop natural learning capabilities
Our preschoolers dive right into our Pre-K curriculum, a comprehensive learning system that builds upon a child’s natural curiosity about the world and their place in it. With ‘Purposeful Inquiry’ at the heart of our InvestiGator™ Club, we awaken the scientist and explorer in each child.
Children are taught to use their senses, encouraged to ask questions, and find answers in a supportive and print-rich learning environment. The InvestiGator™ Club, for instance, offers children creative tools and choices via an out-of-the-box teaching environment that inspires them as well as their families.
However, rather than focusing on a fixed teaching model, our teachers determine each child’s individual needs to create an evolutionary learning environment. Supported by a structured environment, our preschool curriculum provides a project-oriented and play-based experience based on both student and teacher goals.
Besides necessary social and coping skills, the curriculum is also rich in reading, math, science, art, music, as well as sensory, dramatic, and imaginative play. Character education is also integrated into each aspect and activity to provide support for each child’s ideas and skills.
We also understand and appreciate the work our dedicated teachers put into each child and ensure they have a supportive and comforting teaching environment. As guides who can give each child a solid learning foundation, we believe they are invaluable for each child’s growth, happiness, and development.
